Liam Payne, a member of the British boy band One Direction, has tragically passed away at the age of 31. The circumstances surrounding his death have raised numerous questions, and the investigation is ongoing. Reports indicate unusual behavior exhibited by Liam prior to his fall, as well as concerning items found in his hotel room, including aluminum foil, an unknown white powder, and a lighter.
Preliminary toxicology reports have revealed the presence of cocaine in Liam’s system, along with a new synthetic drug known as “Pink Cocaine.” According to various reports from the Associated Press, this substance is a mixture that includes methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA, commonly referred to as Ecstasy. Additionally, benzodiazepines, often used for sedation and sleep, were also detected. Investigators discovered paraphernalia associated with the consumption of these drugs in the room.
Authorities are looking into the possibility that hotel staff may have supplied the drugs, although the hotel has not yet issued a response. To aid the investigation, police have interviewed two Argentine fans who were invited to Liam’s luxurious suite just hours before his death. The two stayed for nearly five hours, departing around 11:30 AM.
While investigators have initially ruled out foul play, they have confirmed that Liam’s death was due to a fall from the third floor of the hotel. The injuries he sustained are consistent with the circumstances of the fall, but further investigation is still necessary.
