Southern California’s Inland Empire adds 2 new projects, with home prices starting at 400,000

In a recent interview, we explored the exciting new residential projects emerging in California’s Inland Empire, specifically those located in Riverside County and San Bernardino County, with prices starting in the $400,000 range.

One standout development in Riverside County is the Oliva at Siena community, being developed by Taylor Morrison. This project consists of 157 townhomes located in French Valley, representing the fourth and final phase of the Siena community’s overall planning. Lisa Fjelstad, President of Taylor Morrison’s Southern California division, shared that the rapid growth of French Valley and nearby Temecula has sparked significant interest from residents in surrounding areas. She emphasized that the community offers an outstanding location that facilitates outdoor activities, convenient transportation, and access to quality schools, alongside thoughtfully designed recreational amenities.

The townhomes at Oliva at Siena come in four different two-story layouts, starting in the low $400,000s and ranging from 1,497 to 1,843 square feet. Each unit features three to four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a two-car garage, as well as additional highlights like a family office space, an upstairs laundry room, an attic, and a walk-in pantry.

Additionally, the Siena master plan includes three other communities: Azul, Rosa, and Viola, broadening the variety of living options for prospective homeowners.

Turning our attention to San Bernardino County, another exciting development is Canyon Ranch, where Trumark Homes is constructing 153 single-family homes. Located near Loma Linda and Redlands, this upscale community will offer homes ranging from 2,100 to 4,000 square feet, with 116 of the homes built on expansive lots of 20,000 square feet or more.

Richard Douglass, President of Trumark Homes’ Southern California division, remarked that the Canyon Ranch community provides a unique opportunity to develop spacious outdoor areas that prioritize resident privacy. Covering 64 acres, the community features a total of 153 lots, 126 of which are situated in Loma Linda and 27 in Redlands. Historically, this land was part of a family-run citrus farm and is now being transformed into an extraordinary estate-style lot layout, with some plots exceeding 20,000 square feet and several thoughtfully designed lots around 7,200 square feet.

The location of Canyon Ranch presents convenient access to major employment centers in San Bernardino, including nearby universities and medical facilities, with easy commuting routes via the 10, 215, and 91 freeways, connecting residents to Riverside, Los Angeles, and Orange County.
