This morning, many regions, including most of Inner Mongolia, central and southern Gansu, northern Ningxia, northern Shaanxi, and Shanxi, saw temperature drops of 4 to 8 degrees Celsius, with some areas experiencing declines of 10 to 14 degrees.
Looking ahead from October 10th to 11th, the influence of this weak cold air will continue, with expected temperature drops of 3 to 6 degrees Celsius in parts of North China, Northeast China, and Inner Mongolia. In eastern Inner Mongolia and western Northeast China, some localized areas might see temperature declines exceeding 8 degrees. Additionally, a northwesterly wind of 4 to 5 on the Beaufort scale, with gusts reaching 6 to 8, is anticipated. Daytime conditions on the 10th will also feature northeastern winds of 5 to 7, with gusts up to 8 affecting the Bohai Sea.
As this weak cold air system moves in, haze in southern Hebei, Shandong, and northern Henan will gradually dissipate from north to south. However, beginning tomorrow, we can expect the atmospheric diffusion conditions in central and southern North China, along with central and western Huanghuai, to worsen. From October 11th to 14th, light to moderate haze is expected in these areas, with some regions experiencing brief periods of heavy haze, prompting the public to stay alert and take necessary precautions.
In terms of precipitation, the forecast for the next three days indicates generally weak rainfall across the country. However, the eastern Tibetan Plateau, western and southern Sichuan, central and northern Yunnan, and Guizhou will likely experience cloudy and rainy conditions. Some areas in southeastern Tibet, southern Sichuan, northern Yunnan, and Guizhou may see moderate to heavy rain, with localized downpours possible. Additionally, light to moderate snow or sleet is anticipated in parts of central and southern Qinghai.
